Evernote changes 50 million user passwords.

Evernote is the latest company to become subject to hacking, which has lead to the company resetting passwords for all it’s 50 million user database.

The site, which allows users to make notes online, announced the security breach on it’s blog after an attempt was made to access secure information on the site such as users passwords.

Although Evernote passwords are protected by one-way encryption the service required it’s users to reset their passwords. According to Evernote users content hasn’t been affected and payment information for the service hasn’t been accessed.

This comes just weeks after companies such as Microsoft, Apple and Facebook also reported hacking.
