A new "green" magazine has been launched to cover ecologically driven business issues.

Called 'Green? Ireland', its publisher Brian Coogan says he is aiming it at both business and general readers. He says it will deal critically with how politicians are handling environmental issues. He argues that the green agenda is often driven by political and financial opportunism, and there was a need to separate this from initiatives that genuinely benefit the environment.

The first issue of the full colour clossy magazine will feature a cover story on actor Leonardo DiCaprio, a keen environmental campaigner. It will also have an interview with the rebellious TD for Dublin Mid west, Paul Gogarty, who resigned recently as a Green Party front bencher.
