Get Your Message Online at Podcasting 101

Athena Media, in conjunction with Joe Conway from Digicast, is running a class to teach you all about podcasting.

Podcasting 101 will take place on Saturday 13th June in their offices on Thomas Street in Dublin. It is a half-day course aimed at those who want to learn the basics of online content, audio and video podcasting, and become familiar with the terms, technology and potential power of podcasts.

The course will be broken into both creative and technical elements, led by two of Ireland's most experienced podcasters, Helen Shaw and Joe Conway, who launched www.podcastingireland.ie and its channels in March 2006.

Podcasting 101 will be followed up by Podcasting Skills 2 at intermediate level, and Podcasting Masterclass for advanced learning.

The intermediate and advanced courses are also ideal for people who have some skills but want to learn more about editing, packaging, online support and profile, and to extend their audio podcasting skills to video. The three half-day courses will give practical skills and tools which can be put to use immediately.
