Support World MS Day
26 May 09

Today is World MS Day, and our good friend Paul Collins, who is the fundraising manager of the MS Society of Ireland, asked us to tell all our MediaFlash readers about it.

MS Ireland is celebrating the first world MS day by marking it as a day of unity and strength, where people affected by MS in homes, towns and cities across the country come together to take positive action on MS.

They will be 'painting the country red' today, Wednesday 27th May, as hundreds of volunteers take to the streets wearing their red MS t-shirts.  They want to encourage people to talk about their MS experiences, donate to our services and research and join the Society.

There will be lots of events and activities, such as the national bucket collection, and a series of seminars and talks on MS treatments and areas relating to living with MS.
