Pembroke wins Bord Gais account

Bord Gais has appointed Pembroke Communications to handle its PR.

The account covers routine PR, plus event and sponsorship management. The board's portfolio of sponsorships includes the GAA under-21 hurling championship, the Ladies Football National League, the Cork City Marathon and the National Media Awards. Bord Gais' head of marketing Nicky Doran said Pembroke's presentations were of an extremely high quality, and their enthusiasm and experience had also put them ahead of the field.

Pembroke Communications has also formed a strategic partnership with Slí Nua Communications, run by former Irish Independent journalist Liam Horan. Pembroke is now the only PR firm in Ireland to have an office in Cork and also the west of Ireland.
