RTE wants lands rezoned

Dublin City Council has confirmed that RTE has asked to have its lands rezoned for mixed use development, including housing. In a letter to the Council, RTE's chief financial officer Conor Hayes said that half the 26 acres at Montrose is open space and parkland. Mr Hayes said recent development has made the Donnybrook area part of an extended city centre.
