Country Mix sale approved

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) has announced that it has approved, in principle, the sale of Star Broadcasting Limited (t/a Dublin's Country Mix), to East Coast Radio Limited (t/a East Coast FM).

The programming services at both stations will remain unchanged but there will be some changes in terms of the management structures. These are designed in part to establish an operating structure for Dublin's Country Mix that is sustainable in the longer term.
