Tribune to cut €2m in costs on advertising fall

Tribune Newspapers is to cut €2m in costs in the face of the deep downturn in the advertising market. Its latest set of accounts show that it posted gross profits of €766,000 for 2008 but an operating loss of €2.7m. Its turnover came in at €9.6m, down 16pc on the previous year.
