Print may be dead, but paper is alive and well down under!

It was a happy discovery to find this animated short film for the NZ Book Council. The use of paper-cuts and books as the medium for the animated sequences reminded me immediately of the 'This Is Where We Live' animation for 4th Estate books (http://tinyurl.com/4thestate). But despite it not being completely unique, the two minute stop frame animated promo, Going West, is still brilliant and uniquely beautiful.

New Zealand Book Council worked with Colenso BBDO and Andersen M Studio to produce the two minute short, bringing to life Maurice Gee's 1993 novel, "Going West" in the process.
