Mediacontact.ie to award €20,000 media package to Irish charity

We are giving away a media package worth €20,000 to an Irish charity.

The full €20,000 package will include free access to Mediacontact.ie's online media directory, media mentoring, training and conference places, and free advertising in the Irish Media Contacts Directory.

On the 22nd January 2010 we launched our Good News Friday initiative, to try and combat the current doom and gloom in the country. So to get people in the spirit of things we decided we would give a dig out to a charity in need of communications help.

To apply for the media packages charities need to email a one-page submission to  jack@mediacontact.ie outlining what they would do with a media package worth €20,000 and how it would improve their charity's operation in 2010. The closing date for submissions is Friday February 26th 2010.

The package includes:
    * A free communications plan for the charity.
    * Three months communications mentoring from Mediacontact.ie
    * Free use for 1 year of the Mediadirect online press release distribution system.
    * 3 free copies of the Irish Media Contacts Directory
    * A free media training course
    * Free social media training.
