On Tuesday last March 10th Gerry Ryan started his RTE programme with an explanation of how he is going to take a 10% pay cut. That's almost €60,000 to ordinary folk like you and me. 

You have got to listen to what has to be one of the most self-serving pieces of radio we've ever heard. How did this man ever have the common touch?
