Kelly goes digital

Lyric FM presenter John Kelly has joined RTÉ's digital radio project. On Tuesday, he begins presenting Radio Clash, a new series on RTÉ 2FM's sister digital radio service, RTÉ 2XM.

The series asks the question: ''Is there no such thing as a new song?" Using bands such as punk legends The Clash as a starting point, Kelly journeys through the decades looking at acts who were sonic innovators.

The services can be accessed online at www.rte.ie/digitalradio, on DAB digital radio sets in the greater Dublin area, and in Cork and Limerick.
