Certus appoints Pat Cox and Liam Young as special advisors

Certus, the bank services outsource provider, has appointed Mr. Pat Cox and Mr. Liam Young as special advisors to the Certus board with immediate effect.

Pat Cox, began his career as an academic economist and worked as a broadcaster with RTE in the mid 1980s, is the former President of the European Parliament and was an MEP forMunsterand former TD. Since retiring from politics he has been involved in a wide range of voluntary activities and also has served on a number of advisory boards. Currently he is on the Board of Michelin and acts as an EU coordinator for a major trans European transport project.

Liam Young established Conduit plc in 1996 and built the company to become one of the leading outsourced call centre providers inIreland. He led the expansion of the organisation into new markets in theUK,Spain,AustriaandSwitzerland. In 2006 Liam planned and managed the sale of the business to Infonxx plc for $120m. Liam is a qualified Chartered Director, and is both a director and investor in a number of Irish companies.
