Sunday 15th April 2012
Minister for Small Business, John Perry T.D., will tomorrow (Monday) announce the winning entry in Bravo Outdoor’s ‘Fame’ competition, in AIB Bankcentre, Ballsbridge at 6pm.
15 small businesses have been shortlisted out of the 214 Irish SMEs who entered the competition, from a wide range of categories including food, online, pharma, tanning, eyewear, skincare and environmental.
Speaking prior to the awards Minister Perry said: “I’m pleased to support this initiative. This competition seeks to offer one Irish SME an outdoor advertising campaign to help towards increasing their brand awareness. This prize will offer the winning company a chance to stand out, to differentiate their business and to possibly increase their customer base.
“Indigenous Irish companies and entrepreneurs have been, and continue to be, crucial for our economic growth and are at the core of our job creation strategy. Small businesses are an intrinsic part of Ireland’s economic fabric and are playing a vital role in developing entrepreneurial activity. This competition will allow the winning business to build on their entrepreneurial ventures, by giving them the opportunity to build their brand and deliver their key marketing objectives.
“I would like to acknowledge Bravo’s commitment towards the SME sector in helping another Irish company to invest in their future by enhancing their brand position with existing and potential new customers.
“I look forward to meeting all the companies who were shortlisted for tomorrow’s event and wish every success to all small businesses who entered the competition.”
