GIVE THE GIFT OF A LIFETIME THIS CHRISTMAS!

Gorta launches its ‘GIVE with Lifetime Gifts’ Christmas catalogue

Beat the Christmas rush this year and shop from the comfort of your own home! Singer Samantha Mumba and three year old Charlie Devane were on hand to help Gorta launch its Christmas ‘Lifetime Gifts’ catalogue, which encourages people to buy the gift of a lifetime for their loved ones this Christmas.

Gifts start at just €12 for Vaccinations which, in African communities, are vital for survival. The ever popular Flock of Chickens and the Mother and Kid Goats at €20 and €35 respectively make a welcome return to the catalogue. Chickens are an excellent source of nutrition for families while goats provide milk and cheese which can also be sold at markets to generate an income.

Gorta CEO Brian Hanratty said “Christmas is a time for giving. And what better way to give than to give the gift of life. There are a range of gifts on offer including the innovative Start-up Vegetable Garden which will allow families grow their own fruit and vegetables, improving both their household income and nutritional well-being.”

“When making that all important Christmas list, I would ask that people consider including a Lifetime Gift, as it not only helps individuals in some of the world’s poorest countries but also many young children, families and even whole communities,” he concluded.

To purchase a life-changing gift this Christmas CallSave 1850 808080, log on to www.gorta.org or call into your local Gorta shop.
