Madison, the UK’s biggest bicycle parts and accessories distributor, has confirmed that it will be represented at the inaugural Irish Cycling Show which takes place in the RDS Simmonscourt on May 19-20 2012.

The wholesaling giant represents top cycling brands in this part of Europe including Shimano, Bell Helmets and Cervelo among many others.

Madison, which began operating in 1977 and currently operates out of bases in Middlesex and Buckinghamshire in England, also services a dealer network throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Speaking following confirmation of their participation in the Irish Cycling Show Kellie Parsons of Madison said that she was “absolutely delighted to be bringing Madison to Ireland. The Irish Cycling Show will be a great opportunity to showcase our brands.”

Madison joins a growing list of firms who have confirmed their attendance at the May exhibition. Hugh Bonner, CEO of event promoters Mara Media, reports that there has already been impressive demand for stand space.

“We knew the show would be popular but we’ve been bowled over by the response from here and the UK,” he said. “As well as the trade exhibitors we have already confirmed a number of feature exhibits which will be announced in due course.”
