Paddy Power Releases

Paddy Power GAA Bulletin

August 2, 2012 09:26 698 views No comment Category: Sports > GAA

The business end of the football championship gets underway this week with the beginning of the All Ireland series. Mayo and Down kick off the action on Saturday with the men from the west the 4/7 favourites to advance with the Mourne men at 7/4.

That fixture is immediately followed by the Dubs and fellow Leinster men Laois. Pat Gilroy’s side are strongly favoured at 1/9 to march to the semi’s this weekend with the handicap favouring them by a massive 7 points.

On Sunday Cork and Kildare face off in what should be a physical battle. Kildare are the 9/4 underdogs in this match up while the rebels are available at 9/4 with the handicap set at -2 for the 2010 All Ireland winners.

The weekend’s action will be wrapped up by Donegal and Kerry in what should be an intriguing encounter. Many punters are anticipating a minor shock in this fixture with the Tír Conaill men been strongly backed at 11/8. A resurgent Kerry remain the favourites for the tie at 8/11
