Paddy Power Releases

 Paddy Power make Galway the 1/2 favourites to reach their first All Ireland Hurling decider since 2005 with opponents Cork the 15/8 underdogs and the draw available at 10/1.

Joe Canning is considered the most likely candidate to strike the first goal at 4/1 followed by Cork’s Pat Horgan and Luke O’Farrell at 7/1 while a trio of Conor Cooney, David Burke and Paudie O’Sullivan are 8/1 to be the first to rattle the onion sack.

Paddy Power said “The short price on Galway hasn’t put off the punters one iota, we’ve seen far less money for Cork but personally I’d never write off a team from the Rebel county.”

Meanwhile, Paddy Power are also taking bets on the next Meath manager following the departure of Séamus McEnaney. Former selector Sean Kelly is the Evens favourite at Evens followed by Colm O’Rourke at 6/1 while Paudie O’Sé is amongst the outsiders at 66/1 along with Louth manager Peter Fitzpatrick who’s at an even more unlikely 100/1.
